F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™

F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™ was developed for production testing companies and is used to gather test data manually or electronically in "Real-Time." F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™ calculates gas and fluid rates using AGA3, AGA7 and AGA8. Superb graphical and tabular outputs allow field and office users to easily monitor test results. Production test data from F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™ is easily transferred into F.A.S.T. WellTest™ and F.A.S.T. ValiData™. F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™ generates Pressure ASCII Standard (PAS) files for electronic submission of production tests in Alberta. F.A.S.T. FieldNotes Viewer™ is available to producers, who don't have F.A.S.T. FieldNotes™, for viewing/printing the test data.

Version 3 Notes

FieldNotes version 3.xx represents the third major revision in the fourteen year history of Fekete’s production testing software. This new FieldNotes version represents a ground up re-design, leveraging the current core, while building new infrastructure to carry FieldNotes forward.

Additions

• Redesigned user interface.
• The Field Measurements table and Report tables support:
  • Meter name centered as a title over the respective meter columns.
  • Excel like column and row sizing.
• New Plotting system:
  • Adjust plot scales with a simple click and drag.
  • Plot toolbar for common used functions.
  • Enhanced curve selection and customization
• Expanded Meter Configuration Bar:
  • Set the display properties of any column by simply clicking on the object name in the tree and editing them in the properties window bellow.
  • Turn on and off columns or a group of columns with a check mark.
• Completely New Reporting system.
• Build, edit and save custom reports.
• Select and position any piece of data on any report anywhere you want.
• Build different reporting templates for different test types or clients.
• Put plots and data together on the same page.
• Enhancements Meters:
  • Flow-shut-in coloring indicates each meters individual status.
  • Each meter contains its own flow time data.
  • Ability to globally zero cumulative production for all meters.
  • Remapping of the Vortex meter into its proper mode of operation as a pulse reading device.
  • Due to more clients using some kind flow computer to measure rates we expanded the Measured Rate Meter to accommodate the 3 possible types of gas flow measurements. (see table below)
  • Added a special rate meter for those using a Systech flow computer. (see table below)
• Introducing Events:
  • Comments are now considered Events.
• • Select from a predefined list of common Comments
  • Add, edit and remove Comments from the selection list
• Zero cumulative production for all meters, resets the cumulative for all meters and Inserts a special comment the identifying the event.
