
F.A.S.T. Piper™ Training Course
Who Should Attend: The course is designed for new and existing F.A.S.T. Piper™ users to get exposure to the new GIS interface in
version 6.0. The course deals with surface hydraulics only; for those would like to discuss aspects of future forecasting and deliverability, they should
attend the 3 day public course, or arrange a 2 or 3 day course at their office.
General Notes: 1 Day Course. Basic Windows navigation skills are recommended prior to attending.

Course Description:
F.A.S.T. Piper™ 1 Day Course
The release of version 6.0 and the new GIS interface have resulted in reduced time required to build/modify a gas gathering system. Users will find
a dramatically different interface which requires a new workflow. This course is designed to teach users how to use the onscreen editing tools and
various imports (image & shape files, data) along with a specific workflow for data entry. This course will focus on software usage, navigation,
data requirements, data input and basic modeling strategies.
The objectives of this course are to familiarize each participant with:
- The new capabilities of F.A.S.T. Piper™
- Importing maps and data
- Construction of the surface facilities using on-screen editing tools
- Geographical referencing of previously built models
- Designating pipeline loops
- Model calibration techniques (i.e. identify stagnant liquids)
